Join us over the weekend Friday 5th – Monday 8th May, when we’ll be celebrating The Coronation of King Charles III. We’ll be televising the events of this momentous day in our beach-facing bar and would love you to join us as we raise a toast to His Majesty.

The Coronation Ceremony begins at 11am, when the King and Queen Consort will arrive at Westminster Abbey – where monarchs have been crowned for the last 900 years. The King will officially be crowned at 12pm, and this is the only time during his reign that he’ll wear the St Edward’s Crown.

At 1pm, King Charles and Queen Camilla will begin the procession back to Buckingham Palace in the Gold State Coach, and they will appear on the palace balcony at around 2.15pm for the flypast, which will feature the iconic Red Arrows.

Come and sit on our sun terrace as we join the rest of the nation in marking this truly wonderous occasion. Stay for dinner or a light bite in our Sea Pearl restaurant, or simply soak up the atmosphere with a drink or two.

Coronation Cocktails

In honour of our new King and Queen, we’ve designed three cocktails for the coronation weekend.

The King Charles

• A bold yet sweet and warming cocktail, made with Johnnie Walker Black Label Scotch, Disaronno, Frangelico, apple and orgeat syrup

The Crown Jewels

• With notes of strawberry and blackberry, this beautiful cocktail is inspired by the English countryside and is made with Didsbury strawberry and lemon gin, Crème de mûre blackberry liqueur, cranberry and lemon

The Coronation

• Fruity with a dash of fizz, this cheeky cocktail is made with tequila, peach schnapps, orange liqueur and lemonade

A Royal FREE drink

Do you share a name with our new King or Queen? Over the Coronation weekend, we’ll be offering a free* drink to any of our wonderful guests who happen to share their name with royalty. So, if your name is Charles or Camilla, come and have a drink on us.
